Micro-Pure Products Soil Excel
Microbial Soil Treatment
Soil Excel contains a specific blend of naturally occurring microorganisms that restore soil that has been damaged by overuse of chemical fertilizers and pesticides which build up in the soil.
The United States Department of agriculture has determined that only 7% of the chemical fertilizers applied to crops are actually utilized by the plants while the remaining 93% becomes “locked” as insoluble inorganic salts. Not only is this a waste of money but the build up of these insoluble chemicals is one of the main factors that cause soil to become poor and less able to support health plant growth. These salts cannot be absorbed by crops they are simply released in run-off caused by heavy rains into adjacent rivers and lakes. Satellite photos show these increasing dead zones in regions of the world where major and minor river systems empty into the ocean.
Chemical accumulation through pesticides and herbicides cause the natural soil microbes to decline further reducing the soils viability. Soil microbes are necessary to convert organic to inorganic material into a bio-available form that the plant can use in order to grow and bear fruit.
The microbes contained in Soil Excel will breakdown inorganic salts into bio-available nutrients that can be utilized by the plants. Byproducts of this breakdown such as fatty acids and humates further stimulate plant growth and vigor.
Soil Excel also contains microns that will break down harmful toxins such as unspent herbicides and pesticides in the soil and other pollutants that could be contained in the irrigation water. Soil Excel microbes will speed the breakdown of dead organic material such as carbohydrates, proteins, etc. converting them into soluble forms of nitrogen and phosphorus. This leads to the reduction of chemical fertilzers used. In addition, Soil Excel will overgrow and competitively inhibit harmful pathogenic microbes present in the soil.
Continued or seasonal use of Soil Excel will restore depleted and damaged soil greatly reducing the quantity of chemical fertilizer necessary in farming operations.
Soil Excel Root Protection and Stimulation
Soil Excel contains the microbes that convert insoluble inorganic salts into soluble forms available to the plant, but it also contains strains of Bacillus subtillus.
What does this mean? Bacillus subtilis will colonize around the root hairs of the plant in a symbiotic manner, a manner that benefits both the bacteria and the plant root. Basically the bacteria causes increases in various phytohormones that are responsible for stimulating both root growth and foliar growth. This results in creating stronger more robust root systems increasing nutrient uptake by the plant stimulating stronger stems, leaves and fruiting bodies.
